But with strong shows of community support, the pressure for change can be strengthened and accelerated. In addition to taking the "Right Choice" challenge you can also show your support by adding your voice to ours, and together, we can end farming wrongs. Simply: Sign our E-petition.

Alternatively, you can download the paper version.

Sign petition letters to Industry, Supermarkets, Fast Food Outlets and Government.

Write a letter to you local paper or call radio talk-back to share your concerns and outrage about the treatment of meat chickens. We have some sample letters for you to read here:

Encourage your local supermarket, independent grocer, butcher and fast-food outlet, restaurant or cafe, to consider the welfare of meat chickens by asking questions about where they purchase their chickens.

You can add your signature to these letters through our website. At the end of our campaign we will send the letters out with your collated signatures attached.

Label Watch!

Chicken labelled 'barn-fresh', 'grain fed', 'hormone free' and '100% natural' are likely to be sourced from conventional farms. Look out for these as well as clever marketing techniques such confusing images and ambiguous language that encourage consumers to dissociate animals from food.

We have compiled a list of labels for you to look out for.
